Ever the revolutionary creators in Haute horologie, Jaeger LeCoultre made some exciting developments in this era. In 1946 the brand released their first automatic watch, revolutionising the experience for their consumers wearing the watches. In 1953 the brand developed the ultra thin calibre 803 measuring just 1.63 mm thick, an incredible feat of engineering. The brand developed their first wristwatch to feature an alarm in 1956. Although this would seem common place now, this was entirely revolutionary for the time in a wristwatch. Much like those groundbreaking development, this beautiful perpetual calendar moonphase is a testament to the skill and artistry of the Jaeger LeCoultre watchmakers
