This very rare, Patek Philippe ref.2518 features a stupendous Markowski case, with large rectangular proportions with a sharp concave edge and superb, very large Toblerone shaped pyramidal lugs. Markowski of course being the esteemed case maker behind most of the Gilbert Albert pieces for Patek Philippe. The captivating case shape makes this reference extremely attractive, whilst the beautiful crystal provides an open view to the sumptuous silver dial with geometric, faceted square indexes. With its large case form the piece sits with real presence on the wrist and whilst very few examples are known, this piece has been preserved in excellent condition.
